Catalogue Note
Les armes sont celles de la famille de Maugue d'Ennezat, originaire d'Auvergne, pour Benoît de Maugue, seigneur d'Ennezat et d'Entraigues, né à Saint-Amant Tallende en 1657, conseiller secrétaire du Roi en 1729, inspecteur général des hôpitaux royaux d'Alsace, médecin des armées du Roi Louis XV pendant plus de quarante ans, contrôleur de la Chancellerie près le conseil supérieur d'Alsace, chevalier de l'ordre de Saint-Michel le 10 septembre 1729. Il avait acheté la vicomté d'Ennezat et d'Entraigues où il s'éteignit, à l'âge de 92 ans, en 1749.
