Condition
Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Case in fair condition with scratches consistent with use, some nicks to the case band from opening, however patina overall and no signs of polish. Dial in poor condition with scratches and marks overall, loss to the edges of the rings, the 24 hour ring with patina and loss of finish, the outer city ring with spotting, scratches and discoloration along the edges. Movement with spotting and loss of finish.

Catalogue Note
Louis Cottier's celebrated World Time watches were supplied to Rolex, Patek Philippe and Agassiz, among others. Agassiz was the creator of the celebrated 'Victory' world time watch made for Winston Churchill, sold by Sotheby's London, September 22 2015, lot 75, for 485,000 GBP.
