  • A VERY FINE AND RARE WHITE GOLD ART DECO SQUARE JUMP HOUR WRISTWATCHNO. 1262 MADE IN 1926
  • enamel and white gold
  • diameter 26 mm
• cal. 10''' rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, bi-metallic balance • silvered dial, outer minute track, Arabic numerals, aperture for jump-hours at 6 o' clock, blued steel minute hand • 18k white gold square case, wire lugs, snap on case back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k white gold Breguet buckle 

Condition

Please note, this is made of gold alloyed with other metal. Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Jump hour works sporadically. Case in very good condition, light scuffing and minor wear to the corners of the case, rubbing to the number to the case back. Dial in very good condition with several small spots to the interior of the track, some minor warping. Hand with light loss of blue. Movement with light scratches and loss of finish.

Catalogue Note

Breguet confirms the year of manufacture in 1926 and the date of sale on January 18, 1928 to Mr. Haïtas for the price of 5,000 Francs. Approximately 50 pieces with jump hour display were made in varying case shapes.
