Since the launch of the Romvlvs series in 1966, Corum has been striving to reinvent and reinterpret the collection. In 2010, Corum took aesthetic daring to the heights of technical perfection and ultimate expression of refinement by introducing the new Romvlvs Billionnaire Tourbillon. It features a tourbillon movement set wholly on sapphire plate and bridges in an amphitheater of diamonds. The transparent nature of sapphire plate allows for more light to be reflected onto the stones, resulting in an even more resplendent sparkling effect. The time is displayed on an exquisite skeletonized dial, the bezel bears the Roman Numerals set by 44 baguette sapphires utilizing the invisible diamond setting technique, outer ring of the dial and lugs are set with brilliant-cut diamonds. To further accentuate the visual extravagance, the watch bracelet is fully adorned with baguette-cut diamonds and sapphires, totalling the amount of carats to a staggering number of 66. Due to the scarcity of precious stones in compatible colour and size, this stunning timepiece is produced in a limited number of 5 pieces.
