Condition

Clearly marked on body and cover, later remarked with Minerva head - usual dents and scratches. Good weight.

Catalogue Note

Les armes sont celles de Louis-Malo-Gabriel, marquis de Vauborel, seigneur de Corny, qui épousa le 3 septembre 1765 à Thionville Jeanne-Marie-Thérèse Jourda de Vaux, fille du maréchal de France Noël Jourda de Vaux. Le marquis de Vaubourel servit sous les ordres de son beau-père et mourut sans enfant en 1832.
