le socle rectangulaire comprenant une boussole et un pendule, gravé des noms de quarante-deux villes européennes et de leurs latitudes, reposant sur trois pieds ; le cadran à deux aiguilles et un alidade, articulé, numéroté deux fois de I à XII et orné de deux cartouches, l'un figurant une allégorie de l'Astronomie et l'autre gravé ANTONIUS/SCHEGHA/Fecit ; (une aiguille probablement d'époque postérieure)

Condition
There is too much contrast on the photograph. The gilt and silvered bronzes are extensively tarnished and rubbed, but look actually more uniform.
As said, one handle is probably of later date. Very precise and delicate engraving. Good overall condition.
Very attractive scientific instrument, as well as a fine work of art.
