Overall good condition with a few old repairs to both arms: his proper right arm has been carved separately, and appears to contain an old filling to the upper arm between shoulder and elbow. There is a joint visible to his proper left arm around the elbow with an old filling. A few splits and hairline fissures with some minor lacks to the drapery, as well as a vertical split to the body of the lion. A few minor lacks and fissures to the drapery. The Saint has partly lost its polychromy and the natural wood appears through the white paint, there are some remains of dark paint in the crevices. The lion to his feet may have been slightly retouched. A few chips and lacks of paint to the lower edges of the base. Figure finely modelled in good overall condition.
