- Coupe à vin à deux anses en vermeil et argent, probablement Pays Baltes vers 1700, seulement insculpée de poinçons de contrôle italien et autrichien vers 1806-1807

de forme ovale polylobée, le centre repoussé d'un homard, le bord de huit coquilles, les anses en volutes terminées en tête de serpent, gravé au dos d'armoiries princières
Condition
in overall good condition - engraved arms at the reverse. On the reverse, two later import marks, one, L within a double rectangle, for Italian region, 1806-1807, the other F within double rectangle, for import in Austria-Hungary, same dates. Otherwise, a third mark, probably VR conjoined within a circle probably for maker's mark, not identified.

Les armes gravées au dos sont celles des princes de Béarn et de Navarre, correspondant sans doute à un cachet de collection, peut-être celui de Guillaume-Alexandre de Galard de Brassac de Béarn, chambellan du roi Stanislas de Pologne qui épousa en 1714 Luce Victoire de Cotentin de Tourville, fille du maréchal de Tourville.
