- marked throughout with assay master's mark FP (Pazzi, 1992, n. 574), maker's mark HON/OR, and control mark
- silver, paper

embossed and chased with scrolling foliage and flowers, the front with the Levi arms and the back with the da Norsa arms, both under coronets, now containing a volume of blank pages

as noted re. the later volume; long split at the top of the back cover; repair where hinge applied to cover; a few minor splits; otherwise good
