Centering a pair of clip-brooches designed as floral clusters, the two largest sapphires weighing approximately 10.45 and 7.60 carats, supported by a necklace of similar design, decorated with additional floral motifs, set with numerous variously-cut multi-colored sapphires, accented by round, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.45 carats, gross weight approximately 81 dwts, length 14¾ inches, the clip-brooches detach and may be worn separately; circa 1950.

Condition

In good condition. Some minor scratching to the metal on the reverse. The necklace clasps in front, fitting a small neck and cannot be worn once clips are removed. The clips measure approximately 2 1/4 by 1 1/4 inches and 2 by 1 3/8 inches. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, predominantly I clarity. The colored stones range in hue from yellows, greens, blues, pinks, and purples and range from slightly to moderately included. Please note that not all stones were tested due to prohibitive mounting and there may be other colored stones other than sapphire in the necklace including peridot. Gross weight approximately 81 dwts.
