Set with fourteen cushion-cut yellow and blue sapphires, spaced at intervals by four half cylinder-shaped blue sapphires, the sapphires weighing a total of 156.25 carats, joined by circular motifs set with buff-top calibré-cut peridots, further set with round diamonds weighing approximately 5.65 carats, gross weight approximately 138 dwts, internal circumference 14½ inches signed Bulgari, with maker's and Italian registry marks.

Condition

In good condition. Some scratching and small dents to the metal commensurate with wear. The sapphires range from a medium, slightly violetish blue to a medium yellow, with one light yellow example near the back of the necklace, and are slightly included with examples of fingerprints, minor surface reaching inclusions and slight facet abrasions visible under close inspection. The peridots are a light, slightly yellow green and are predominantly limited to light scratching on the tops of the stones commensurate with wear though several display chipping as well, visible under close inspection with a loupe. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The necklace is stamped with the weight of the sapphires, 156.25 cts and is fitted with a safety clasp. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 1076058 stating that the fourteen sapphires are of Ceylon origin, eleven with no indications of heating, three with indications of heating. Please note that slight alterations were made to the necklace after the time of certification to return it to its original form. As such, the location of the heated sapphires may have changed place and may not correspond to the numbering provided by the AGL.
