Composed of 28 beads applied with mother-of-pearl measuring approximately 14.4 to 14.1 mm, alternating with 29 cultured pearls measuring approximately 12.1 to 11.2 mm, the rondelles set with round diamonds weighing approximately 4.85 carats, length 34½ inches, signed MdV.
Condition
In good condition. The applied mother-of-pearl mosaic is intact and exhibits subtle orient and sheen. The near-round cultured pearls display a silvery white body color with strong rose overtones, moderate blemishing such as some significant pitting as well as uneven skins. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. The necklace can be wrapped around a small neck twice for variety of wear.
