Centering an emerald-cut emerald weighing 7.16 carats, flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, size 5ΒΌ, signed V.C.A., numbered 7283 C.S., with French workshop and assay marks.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a medium slightly bluish green hue and is slightly to moderately included. Minute chipping to the girdle and very slight abrasions to a few of the facet junctions. Diamonds are approximately G-H color and VS-SI clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 65347 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: traditional. According to the consignor, the ring was purchased in 1962.
