The bracelets designed as a lion and a lioness, set with round diamonds weighing a total of approximately 5.00 carats, accented by four marquise-shaped ruby eyes, highlighted with black and white enamel, total gross weight approximately 143 dwts, internal circumference of lion bracelet 6½ inches, internal circumference of lioness bracelet 6¼ inches.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition unless otherwise noted. LION: Enamelling is intact. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. One small diamond missing from the mane near the lion's neck. The rubies are a medium deep red and are slightly included. The clasp is located at the nape of the neck and is fitted with a safety closure. LIONESS: the enameling is in good condition other than small cracks to a few of the white cells. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. The rubies are a medium deep red and are slightly included. The clasp is located at the nape of the neck and could benefit from tightening. Fitted with a safety closure.
