- Platinum, Pearl and Diamond
The double-strand necklace of graduated design, composed of 156 natural pearls measuring approximately 9.1 to 3.6 mm, the clasp set with five old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.90 carats, accented by baguette diamonds weighing approximately .60 carat, length 18 inches; together with 12 loose pearls measuring approximately 4.6 to 3.7 mm, which have not been tested for natural origin.
Condition
In good condition. The first strand is a slightly creamy golden hue with overtones of pink and green, with good to very good luster, minor wrinkling of the skins and some areas of flattening and peeling at the drill holes, presumably from wearing against each other. The other strand is a creamy white hue with light overtones of pink, with waxy to good luster and minor blemishing. Diamonds are approximately H-K color and SI-I clarity. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80715 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater.
