The double-row choker of tubogas design, set with two bronze coins, the reverse of one coin inscribed, 'Gratinius Roma, 367-383 Follis,' gross weight approximately 136 dwts, internal circumference tapers from 12¾ to 13¾ inches, signed Bulgari, numbered IL 4, with maker's mark.

Condition

In good condition. Light scratching and abrasions to the surface of the gold throughout. The top collar segment is white gold with yellow gold underlay and the lower most collar segment is all yellow gold. Some discoloration to the gold underlay near the front of the necklace, giving it a more antique look. The two bronze coins appear to be folles from Ancient Rome.
