The brooch designed as a shooting star, the star centering an emerald-cut amethyst measuring approximately 10.7 by 9.1 by 6.5 mm, accented by round amethysts and citrines, gross weight approximately 19 dwts; circa 1940. The ring set at the sides with two old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, accented by calibré-cut citrines, size 5¾; circa 1935.

Condition

BROOCH: In good condition with light scratching to the gold. The amethysts and citrines are medium to deep shades and are eye clean, with French import marks on pin stems. Approximately 4 inches long. RING: The diamonds are approximately J-K color and SI-I clarity. The citrines are nicely matched in color and are eye clean, many are significantly chipped. Some scratching, nicking and dimpling to the gold throughout.
