Supporting two emerald-cut emeralds weighing 12.16 and 10.18 carats, with cluster-style tops set with round, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 13.65 carats, signed HW; pendants detachable.
Condition
In very good condition. The emeralds are a bright, lively, rich medium slightly bluish green color and are slightly to moderately included. One of the emeralds has a cavity tucked beneath a prong, but the stone remains stable. Otherwise the emeralds maintain a good polish overall, with a few minute surface reaching inclusions. Evenly saturated color throughout. Earring A (Set with the 12.16 carat emerald and marked with red nail polish) is set with 4 marquise-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.06 cts, .95 cts, .88 cts, and 1.05 cts and one pear-shaped diamond weighing approximately 1.38 carats. Earring B (set with the 10.18 carat emerald and unmarked) is set with 4 marquise-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.19 cts, .97 cts, .94 cts, 1.00 ct and one pear-shaped diamond weighing approximately 1.96 carats. The diamonds are approximately E-G color and VVS-SI clarity.
Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 48875 A and B stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: oil. Together with a letter from the AGL describing the rarity and quality of Colombian emeralds, in addition to noting that the two present emeralds received an Excellent Match Pair Rating, which, '..is the highest ranking and defines a matched pair of gemstones that is rare to achieve and reflects a high level of exclusivity.Approximately 1 3/4 inch.
