Centering a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 4.89 carats, flanked by two old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.20 carats, further accented by two baguette diamonds weighing approximately .35 carat, size 6ΒΌ, numbered 68700.
Condition
In good condition. The shank exhibits minimal signs of wear in the form of small scratches. Under close inspection the eye-clean sapphire exhibits slight wear to the facet junctions and moderate to heavy chipping along the girdle. There is a significant chip next to one of the diamonds and another to the girdle, beneath one of the prongs. The two round diamonds are approximately F color, VS-SI clarity and show minor chips to the girdle; the baguettes are VVS-VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 63486 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.
