Description
- gold, colored diamond, diamond
Centering an emerald-cut Fancy Intense Yellow diamond weighing 15.83 carats, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately .45 carat, size 6¾.
Condition
In good condition. The setting and shank display small scratches commensurate with wear. There are remnants of a sizing bar still soldered to the bottom which feels a little rough on its edges when felt carefully but presents no discomfort when worn and can easily be removed by a jeweler. The decorative diamonds around the center stone are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. According to the consignors who are ranchers in Texas, this diamond was acquired in South Africa where they were advised it could be named due to its being over 10.00 carats. The name 'The Yellow Rose of Texas' was selected in honor of the owners' home state. The center diamond is accompanied by GIA report no. 5171174383 stating that the diamond is Fancy Intense Yellow, Natural Color, VVS1 clarity.
