The brooch designed as a flower set with 27 cultured pearls measuring approximately 6.9 to 4.1 mm, accented by 17 cabochon sapphires, further set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 7.75 carats, signed Webb; the earclips set with six cultured pearls measuring approximately 6.8 to 4.1 mm, accented by ten cabochon sapphires, further set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 2.10 carats, unsigned; circa 1965.

Condition

All pieces in good general condition. BROOCH: The round cultured pearls have a silvery white body color with moderate rose and soft green overtones. Good luster and minute blemishing mainly in the form of pitting. The cabochon sapphires display a medium to medium-deep violetish blue color, moderately to heavily included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions and abrasions at the facet junctions visible under close inspection. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, predominantly VS clarity with a few examples of SI clarity stones. Signed on an applied plaque on the reverse. Length approximately 3 1/8 inches. EARCLIPS: The round cultured pearls have a silvery white body color with strong rose and soft green overtones, good luster and minute blemishing. The cabochon sapphires are medium to medium-deep violetish blue and well-matched in color to the brooch, moderately to heavily included. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Earclips are unsigned, length approximately 1 7/8 inches.
