The four-strand necklace of graduated design, composed of ruby beads measuring approximately 11.8 by 4.5 mm, the clasp centering a cabochon ruby measuring approximately 14.1 by 8.7 mm, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 12.20 carats, length 16ΒΌ, signed Webb.
Condition
In very good condition. The ruby beads and ruby cabochons range in tone from medium to deep and range in color from slightly purplish red to red. They are heavily included overall and most beads are semi-translucent with a few opaque examples. They are slightly irregular in shape and many of the beads exhibit small cavities and surface reaching inclusions, as is typical of this type of material. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity.
