Group of Seven Brooches

Comprising seven decorative gem-set brooches including: two ballerinas, a cultured pearl spray, a foliate design accented by ruby berries, a flower, and two figures depicting Romeo and Juliet; total gross weight approximately 45 dwts.

All pieces in good condition. TWO BALLERINAS: the larger brooch with gross weight approximately 10 dwts and length approximately 2 1/8 inches, the smaller brooch with gross weight approximately 4 dwts and length approximately 1 1/8 inches. The round to near-round cultured pearls have a creamy to silvery white body color with moderate rose overtones, good luster and minor blemishing. The sapphires are a medium-deep violetish blue and they range moderately to heavily included. SPRAY BROOCH: The round cultured pearls have a silvery white body color with moderate rose and blue overtones, good luster and minute blemishing. GOLD AND RUBY BROOCH: The rubies are a medium pinkish red and moderately to heavily included. Gross weight approximately 9 dwts, length approximately 2 1/2 inches. FLOWER BROOCH: The near-round pearl is a creamy white body color with soft rose overtones, fair to good luster and minor blemishing. Gross weight approximately 5 dwts, length approximately 2 inches. TWO FIGURES: The brooch depicting Romeo with gross weight approximately 5 dwts, length approximately 1 1/2 inches. The brooch depicting Juliet with gross weight approximately 7 dwts, length approximately 2 inches.
