Centered by a star sapphire weighing approximately 97.30 carats, framed by tapered baguette diamonds; together with a mounting so the ring may be worn as a pendant; size 4½, the ring and pendant mount with maker's marks.

In good condition with some scratching to the platinum, commensurate with wear. The star sapphire is a medium-deep slightly grayish violet-blue, semi-opaque and heavily included as is typical of the material. The six rayed star is visible but slightly off center, and most of the legs are wavy. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity with examples of SI clarity stones. The ring bears a nice heft and is fitted with an inner sizing band.
