Composed of ten strands of tourmaline beads measuring approximately 10.0 to 8.5 mm, spaced by rondelles set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.60 carats, completed by a clasp of foliate design set with round diamonds weighing approximately 2.70 carats, together with alternative tassels set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.90 carats, length 16½ inches, signed Verdura, numbered VB1245. With signed pouch.
Condition
In very good condition. The tourmaline beads are medium strongly purple red and range in clarity from eye-clean to lightly included. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. The clasp can be manipulated to create alternate ways to wear the necklace. The tassels can be removed from the clasp shown in the printed catalogue and an additional piece can be added to so the necklace becomes a longer lariat rather than a choker.
