Of openwork design, centered by an oval-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 11.78 by 10.28 by 4.91 mm, further set with old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.25 carats and French-cut diamonds; circa 1920.

Condition

In good condition. The sapphire is very deep blue and very lightly included, with a few abrasions which are not evident when worn. The approximate weight of the sapphire is 5.10 carats. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, predominantly VS clarity. Dimensions of brooch approximately 2 3/4 inches by 1 inch. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 64625 stating that the sapphire is of Australian origin, with no indications of heating.
