Centered by a square emerald-cut emerald weighing approximately 3.75 carats, framed by old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.20 carats, further accented by single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .90 carat, size 5¾; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition. The setting shows some signs of wear with minor abrasions to the back of the ring shank consistent with normal wear. The slightly included emerald displays a medium light, slightly bluish green hue with a surface reaching inclusion visible toward the girdle. The diamonds are approximately J-K color, and predominantly SI clarity with light chipping to the girdle.
Please note that this ring is centered by an emerald-cut emerald weighing approximately 3.75 carats and not an emerald-cut diamond as stated in the printed catalogue.
Accompanied by AGL report no. CS35296-1 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: faint, type: oil.
