Set with a cabochon emerald weighing 81.19 carats, framed by ribbon scrolls set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 2.40 carats.
Condition
In good condition. The brooch shows some wear with minor abrasions and scratches to the platinum setting surface consistent with normal wear. The emerald is displays medium light slightly bluish green hue. The emerald is heavily included and shows some surface reaching inclusions to the cabochon top as well at the back of the stone. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, and VS-SI clarity. Please note that the emerald is slightly loose within the mounting. Length 1 3/4 inches. Please note that the emerald weighs exactly 81.19 carats, not approximately 85.00 as stated in the printed catalogue. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59152 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: traditional.
