Description
- suede, gold, lapis
The taupe suede bag accented by lapis lazuli rings, the gold clasp set with four cabochon sapphires and one sugarloaf lapis lazuli cabochon, measuring 5¼ by 8¾ by 3 inches, with an adjustable strap, signed Cartier, Made in France.
Condition
In good condition. The lapis cabochon and rings are a medium-deep blue with evident flecks of pyrite. One of the lapis rings shows a fairly significant chip, but it is secure. With four interior pouches. Opens by twisting the lapis cabochon 45 degrees. The clasp is accented by four cabochon sapphires, not lapis lazuli cabochons as stated in the printed catalogue. The sapphires are decorative in quality.
