Of graduated design, set with 45 star sapphires of various hues weighing 161.28 carats, accented by baguette diamonds weighing 2.10 carats, gross weight approximately 25 dwts, length 17½ inches.
Condition
In very good condition. Setting is in very good condition with minimal wear and very minor abrasions to the gold.. The semi-translucent star sapphires are in very good condition and display hues of varying slightly grey green, slightly grey blue, slightly purplish blue, blue, slightly grey purple, slightly purplish red, and purplish red with varying degrees of saturation and some color zoning. Sapphires display fairly strong six ray rolling asterism under a direct light source. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Necklace displays very nice movement and lies nicely when worn.
