The earclips set with two emerald-cut emeralds weighing 2.15 and 1.87 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats, signed M. Gerard, numbered 1120 CS, with French assay and workshop marks; the ring of similar design, set with an octagonal-cut emerald weighing 2.70 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, size 6, signed M. Gerard, numbered CS 1119, with French assay and workshop marks.
Condition
In good condition. EARRINGS: In good condition. The setting displays minor abrasions to the back of the settings, not visible when worn. The slightly to moderately included emeralds display a very slightly bluish green hue and evenly saturated. Diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Length 1 1/4 inches. RING: In good condition. Back of ring shank displays moderate nicking and abrasions consistent with wear. Slightly included emerald displays a richly saturated very slightly bluish green hue. Diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity.
