18 Karat Gold, Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise Necklace, Verdura

Of graduated design, composed of 27 lapis lazuli beads measuring approximately 19.8 to 13.8 mm, spaced by faceted turquoise rondelles, completed by two gold beads and a gold bead clasp, length 22½ inches, signed Verdura.

In good condition. Lapis Lazuli beads display a medium blue color with very little to no mottling and show light distribution of pyrite. Some lapis lazuli beads show minor abrasion and chipping where there has been rubbing between beads. Faceted turquoise rondelles are in good condition, and display an even greenish blue color. Gold beads display minor abrasions to the surface consistent with age and use. Signed Verdura on male end of clasp, length 22 1/2 inches.
