Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with minor surface scratches, a few edge abrasions and minor discolorations consistent with age and gentle use. The edges with minor age cracks and surface dirt to the recessed areas. Portions of the proper left side of seat back, seat, and front base panel have been sensitively restored at some point in the history of the piece. The lower portion of the feet with minor discolorations and water staining. The highly detailed geometric decoration with a few scattered minor losses to copper inlays. A few elements of the decoration with evidence of restoration and sensitively undertaken infill. Under close inspection, a few bone inlays present with minor cracks, consistent with age. The lower copper disk with minor oxidation to the lower portion. A wonderful example of the model demonstrating a highly intricate decoration and masterful execution that epitomizes Bugatti's unique aesthetic. -----
