Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the enamel presents with a deep shine and bright enamelled surface, less saturated than indicated by the printed catalogue illustration. Minor shallows scratches and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The enamel is in good condition with areas of minor loss to the brown enamel near the base, at center, and where the pendant loop rubs against the mounting at top. The translucent lavender-colored enamel to the reverse in very good condition. Signed on the rim near the base. The box with minor is embossed with maple leaves and surface dirt, minor abrasions and wear to the leather, consistent with age and use. The interior of the original box is lined with fabric with a few tears and losses consistent with age and use. A very rare offering with delicate execution and displaying Rene Lalique great artistry. -----
