Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed first hand, the piece displays a highly detailed glaze with a wide range of dark burgundy, violet and turquoise. The piece has been examined under black light and shows no evidence of prior restoration. The glaze with a few minor air bubbles and irregularities inherent in the making. The upper shoulder with a minor irregularity in the glaze, measuring approximately 1 ½ x ¾ in. The lower edge of the body with a minor depression, visible on the right side of the catalogue illustration. A highly desirable form with wonderful glaze work throughout. -----
