carved in the form of a recumbent mythical beast with its head turned backwards, its young depicted clambering on its back, the larger beast's prominently pronounced spine naturalistically depicted with protrusions, the stone of a pale green colour mottled with russet inclusions

In overall good condition with light surface scratches. The catalogue illustration is tinged with red.
