the shallow rounded sides rising from a recessed base to an everted rim, the interior worked in high-relief with a leafy gnarled sprig bearing prunus blossoms and two large peaches, the countersunk base incised and gilt with a four-character reign mark, the stone of a rich spinach-green colour accentuated with white and black speckles

The washer is in overall good condition except minute chips to the extremities as can be expected, including the edges of the petals on the interior. There are also minor chips to the tips of two branches on the interior and a 0.3cm chip to the mouth rim at the 10 o'clock position. The actual colour of the jade is similar to the catalogue illustration.
