Description

  • porcelain
sturdily potted with a compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a tall tubular neck, applied overall with an olive-coloured glaze flecked with a fine golden-yellow mist, thinning to brown at the mouthrim, the footring dressed in a dark wash, the recessed base incised with a six-character seal mark beneath a brown glaze

Condition

The overall condition is excellent. The glaze is slightly uneven with a yellowish patch on one side of the body. The actual colour is quite close to the catalogue illustration.
