Description

of cylindrical form and supporting on three short feet, deftly incised on the exterior with a wondrous mountain landscape scene detailed with craggy rockwork and arboured with tall bamboo trees next to an inscription signed by Zhiyan, the patina of a warm caramel-brown colour

Condition

The brushpot is in good overall condition with just general surface wear as expected. The actual colour of the bamboo is warmer than the catalogue illustration.
