seated with both legs pendent with right hand holding the end of a willow stem, the left hand holding a cup, dressed in loose robes with chased floral borders, open to reveal an elaborate necklace adorning the bare chest, the expressive face flanked by earrings and tied tresses, below a tiara centered by a figure of Amitabha, wood stand (2)

Condition

There are losses to the Buddha on the tiara, to the tip of the willow sprig held in the right hand, and to the tips of two fingers. There is a repair to the back of the head. There is an approximately 9.5 cm S-shaped crack on the rear lower left and an associated rectangular patch. There are cracks to the rear right shoulder, and the center of the back with a patch. There are also patches on the figure's knees and right lap, and pitting to the lower back, as well as other signs of wear. There is wear to the gilding. There is wear and losses to the wood stand.
