the wide-shouldered body surmounted by a tall trumpet neck, incised with a kuilong band and flanked by well-modelled chilong handles above two raised fillets, the body unadorned except for petal-lappets encircling the shoulder and a row of bosses above the foot, the base incised yong pao yong (to be used and treasured forever) in archaic script

Condition
There is a restored crack just below the flaring mouth which is horizontally oriented going half way around the neck of the vase from the top of one handle to the other. The base has been replaced. The surface with expected wear, some scratches and small nicks and there are traces of black lacquer.
