the rectangular white and pale gray marble panel well-variegated on both sides with beige and dark brown flecking suggestive of a mountainous landscape under scudding skies, set within a plain frame, with an openwork panel of archaistic angular scrollwork above a beaded and cusped apron, supported on either side by shaped spandrels and resting on slightly arched trestle feet

Condition

The stand and screen are in overall good condition. The stand has some filled repairs and some consolidation of the joinery. The wood is a bit dry and has some droplet staining.
