thickly potted with deep, gently rounded sides rising to a slightly incurved rim, applied overall with a rich lavender-blue glaze, thinning at the rims to a mushroom color, stopping unevenly around the foot revealing the pale orange body, Japanese wood box (3)

The bowl is in excellent condition. There is a minute 0.1 cm burst glaze bubble to the rim. Overall with expected wear and minor glaze flaws, consistent with age and type. Some variation in the lavender blue glaze with two iron spots.
