- Porcelain
of bombé form, painted to the exterior with two dragons confronting a 'flaming pearl' among clouds, an inscribed rectangular cartouche on the other side stating that the censer was made for the Earth God temple by devotee Lu Qin, all above a cyclical date reading Gengyin nian zhi feng corresponding to 1710
Condition
There is a burst bubble on the exterior to the body of the dragon, and multiple burst bubbles and firing cracks to the interior of the censer. Otherwise the censer is in overall good condition.
