painted around the exterior of the deep U-shaped body with a continuous peony scroll, above a ruyi band surrounding the foot, the interior with a peony spray below a band of meandering lingzhi encircling the everted rim, the base with four-character mark reading fugui jiaqi (beautiful vessel for the rich and honorable), surrounded by four clusters of four drill-holes

Condition
Has several areas of restoration to the rim edge. Also three long restored cracks running down from the rim to the foot, two extending through the foot rim, with restoration also around the inner edge of the foot (It is possible there is a repaired break to one side here but impossible to be certain). There are some areas of pitting to the glaze on the interior base.
