Description
- Bronze, silver inlay, turqoise, jade and coral
the pear-shaped body embellished with coral, hardstones, gilded lion-masks and chilong, inlaid on each side with jade plaques carved in relief with stylized shou characters surrounded by auspicious objects, one end set with a long tapering spout issuing from the mouth of a makara, opposite an elaborate handle linked by a chain to the domed cover, surmounted with a jade crane finial, all supported on a pedestal foot (2)

Condition
There are signs of light wear, tarnish and scattered small patches of oxidation to the surface. There are traces of glue around the jade plaques and finial, and there appears to be a patch near the mouth of the spout. There is a small break were the handle joins the neck.
