the compressed body supported on a flared foot, irregularly gold splashed around the exterior, the sides set with opposing loop-handles, the base crisply cast with a four-character apocryphal Xuande seal mark

Condition

There is some minor encrustation on the mouth rim and base, and apart from minor nicks along the edges and surface wear associated with age, the censer is in good overall condition.
