naturalistically carved in the form of a curled lotus leaf, an openwork stem forming the handle issuing a small lotus pod and a large leafy sprig in high relief on the interior, the underside carved with veining radiating outward from the center, the stone with some opaque mottling and a long milky-white inclusion
