  • nephrite
finely carved as an arched dragon, the head with squared snout, open jaws, curled beard and horns, the body incised with legs tucked in, a ridged spine and wings, and terminating in a coiling bifurcated tail, the russet skin of the stone well-incorporated into the carving, with dark brown inclusions

Condition

There is a stained crack to the ridged spine approx 1 in., (2.5 cm), a minor nick and knock to the underside of the dragon.
