carved in the form of a standing boy, wearing loose-fitting robes, the head tilting to one side and the face with gentle smile, cradling a large goose, the stone of an opaque beige tone with dark brown and russet-pink inclusions

There are several fissures in the jade, the longest running from the base and up the side of the body to the face.
